I’ve not had a chance to post up what we’ve been up to this summer but I will get around to it! – promise!
This weekend we had nothing planned, but the weather forecast was really good considering that we’re moving into Autumn. So we took a trip.
Called Carreglwyd campsite in Port Eynon on Saturday morning and they had space – so off we went to the Gower for the first time.
Beautiful weather, great campsite, ice cream, BBQ – just why we got a campervan!
One of the main reasons for getting Davina was to be able to do trips to France. From South Wales we’ve got multiple options to cross, usually with Brittany Ferries.
Earlier in the year we joined their Club Voyage which gets us 30% off fares plus a range of other benefits. If you’re going to do more than a single trip then it’s well worth looking at.

We planned a trip to mid Wales last year but then couldn’t make it due to VW Sinclair’s total incompetence. With Spring well and truly arrived it was time to try again.
